The Winding Road of Patapat Viaduct

The Ilocos provinces in the Philippines is filled with breath taking places and views. One of them is the Patapat Viaduct located at the northernmost part of Luzon island in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte. This viaduct is the fourth longest bridge in the Philippines and it stretches a total of 1.3 kilometers. It takes a total of 2 hours of driving from Laoag City, Ilocos Norte in order to reach the municipality of Pagudpud. But the 2-hour long and arduous ride is rewarding enough for you to witness the treasures of Pagudpud.

This long coastal bridge connects the provinces of Ilocos to the Cagayan Valley Region. There are only a few vehicles driving along the viaduct which made us decide to park our car at the side and took some pictures of it.
